Steven James Head, age 35, of Hawley died unexpectedly on Friday, April 22.
Mr. Head was born June 27, 1969 at Honesdale, PA the son of Ronald Head and Mary (Swinyer) Head Hickey. He was married to Leena Mergen-Head for 6 Years.

Steve was a 1987 Graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was employed as a Utility Worker by PPL.

He is survived by his wife: Leena Mergen-Head, one daughter: Olivia Head of Hawley, PA and one son: William Head of Hawley, PA
Sister Teresa Head of Honesdale, PA
Sister And Brother-in-law, Sandra & Floyd Quick of Hawley, PA;
Sister & Fiance, Ellen Hickey & Bernard Knapp of Hawley, PA; and several Nieces And Nephews,

Steve was predeceased by a brother David and his Step-father William George Hickey.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, Inc., 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with burial in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley on Wednesday following the Funeral Service.

 

 


This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Steven Head who was born in Pennsylvania on June 27, 1969 and passed away on April 22, 2005. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Stevie was a beloved brother, son, father, and uncle. he was a wonderful man, probably the best you would ever meet. He left this earth way before he should have. He was kind to everyone , he never had a bad word to say about anyone. If you knew Stevie you would know what im talking about.
